These very seeds fell from the actual tree that Buddha sat under!
We collect these seeds while in Bodhgaya, sitting under the Bodhi tree that Buddha obtained enlightenment under, and offer them to you.
We ask for a donation for the seeds. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT! of your donation amount goes back to take care of poor monks in Bodhgaya so that they can live comfortably and continue to practice.
One friend we have known since 2006 is a monk there, we send him the funds, and he distributes to the monks in need. Not all monks benefit from association with monasteries and the support that often comes with that so many are left quite destitute while continuing their daily prayers at MahaBodhi Temple.
