I just received your package now. The mala is unbelievable and the surprise is to see how small the seeds are...just beautiful, truly a piece to cherish for life.

It is almost hard to believe it has 108 seeds! I have it in my neck, a very unusual piece, such that I will be able to wear it without anyone thinking I have joined the Hare Krishna!

 

I have never seen a mala with such small seeds, it is outstanding in beauty, energy and feel! It is as though these seeds truly came from the greenest place on earth because they are so beautifully offset by the green thread.

Just recently i was on salt spring for a workshop and i took my daughters precious gift to me of a  bohti tree bracelet from you,to a kind man at the market. i had not known that these beads were seeds and so i had been wearing it constantly and getting the bracelet wet. i was informed and even so the bracelet was taken for repair. i purchased a rose wood bracelet as well.

So often I've found malas being sold elsewhere that are made with inferior grade materials and constructed poorly or even strung with damaged beads; but your products are exceptional. The quality of the beads etc. and your meticulous workmanship make them a joy to use.

The slip knot you've incorporated into the wrist mala design is ingenious and makes it easy for me to slip the mala on and off when I'm carrying it during the day. It's a simple and elegant addition that I've found very practical for meditation, allowing me to adjust the space between the beads myself.

I am extremely pleased with my custom mala that Brian made and shipped from Bodhgaya in June 2008.  While searching for mala information, I found Brian and his helpful videos posted on YouTube.  These videos led me to DestinationOM.com and their wide selection of malas and other prayer tools.  I was interested in a simple custom mala design and browsed the hundreds of mala photos on DestinationOM.com to gather ideas.  Brian always replied promptly in our email exchanges while determining the design.  He then provided detailed photos of the finished mala which allowed me to either request further changes or approve the design.  Brian got it right the first time; the mala he made was just what I was looking for.  Brian’s “stretcher” slip knot is a welcome feature for adjusting the bead spacing and it works very well.

When shipping seemed to take a long time (which it should from India!), Brian even offered to make a second mala and ship promptly from Canada.  I told him the delay was no problem and within a few days my mala arrived.  Brian’s lifetime guarantee with free repairs means my mala should last forever.

Firstly, allow me to say that when it comes to creating a personal and custom mala, Brian is a champion. After a few emails back and forth, Brian had drawn up the plans for my mala. Every request I made was received and answered. I've never experienced a more pleasant exchange in my dealings.

I searched far and wide for a mala that would combine being spiritually fulfilling and discreet enough to be practical while at work. Destination Om had exactly what I was looking for. My Bodhgaya lotus seed wrist mala has already encountered the harshest environs and it stands up exceptionally well. The quality is masterful. I had some concerns about the slipknot and whether it would hold but it has vastly exceeded original expectations.
This is a first quality design. Very strong.

After a few emails, Brian sent me a picture of my mala, already made and ready to be shipped. I was amazed at the speed and precision of his work. I expected something of this nature to take a few weeks in order to complete. No. Brian had made it in a day's time. The fact that he accepts PayPal is a huge bonus.

I had THE BEST experience getting my mala!!!
I had done an internet search for custom
malas because I really wanted one that was 
truley special and one of a kind.This
site came up .I was hoping to find a place 
that could make one from REAL sandalwood as
I had read alot on the internet about it 
being harder and harder to find the real
thing.

When I clicked on on their sandalwood malas 
they were open about this issue and the fact 
they were in India to get the real thing so 
I trusted them with my purchase.

The communication was outstanding, regular 
emails about the design, status and 
eventually pictures.

The mala shipped quickly and was lovely...
I then received an email about a week or so 
later that they had discovered the 
sandalwood beads were actually fakes, they 
re-made (with GENUINE BEADS) new malas at 
no extra cost and replaced mine. They told 
us to keep the fakes to show others how 
easy it was to be fooled and what to look 
for.

The mala was even more stunning and I have 
to say as soon as I opened the package I 
was overwhelmed by a very peacful calm 
sensation.I have heard that about 
sandalwood and now know it to be true.

I could not possibly be happier with my 
purchase! I trust them,they do beautiful

In my opinion these very smooth lotus seed wrist malas are the best item for a lay practitioner. This is because when your chanting is disrupted the mala can be easily moved between the hand and wrist. Also if you always wear a mala bracelet the opportunity of practice is always near.
