I want to assure buyers that the sandalwood I am arranging is GENUINE 100% pure and because of this it is RARE and HARD TO FIND!
You will often see "sandalwood" for sale and will see it relatively cheap but this is not real, it will be perfumed wood...when it arrives it will have a strong scent but will wear off as you have it on your body...the complete reverse happens to genuine woods. When you DO NOT wear it then the scent will lessen and once the oils of your skin permeate the wood the scent will reveal itself again.
The cost of these malas range from $50 and up and depends entirely on the additional components you wish to add.
THINGS TO WATCH FOR TO CONFIRM SANDALWOOD IS REAL: It is NEVER ROUND as you see in this picture the beads are somewhat oval in shape, they are NEVER EXACTLY the right size (9mm is actually 8.5mm wide and so on, everything is .5mm smaller than the "size" sold), the colour of each bead is consistent with the next, sandalwood is smooth while the fake is rough in the hand, AND the smell is subtle not pungent like the perfumed fakes.
